Is your ideal dog non-shedding and hypo-allergenic?
Would you enjoy a dog that is outgoing, intelligent and a loyal companion?
How about a dog that is playful and has more personality than you can imagine?
If you said yes to any of these questions, then the Aussiedoodle is the dog for you!
The Aussiedoodle is a relatively new crossbreed of an Australian Shepherd and Poodle. It is a combination of the best traits of both breeds. The goal of cross-breeding with a poodle is to get a low-shedding, hypo-allergenic haircoat. This is awesome for those who suffer from pet-related allergies.
The Aussiedoodle is extremely intelligent, friendly, and family-oriented. They excel in agility and are sometimes used as service or therapy dogs. These dogs love to play but are just as happy to lay at your feet or on your lap if allowed. The Aussiedoodle is very sweet, yet outgoing enough to interact with other pets and people. They are very patient with small children.
As with any new puppy, they need early socialization. They are eager to learn. Training must be done with reward, firmness, patience, and consistency. We recommend “The Perfect Dog” training system by Don Sullivan. It has been very successful in training our dogs.
